For the last 12+ yrs that I have been in KC I always enjoyed having access to news back home. Now the web site wants to charge for access. Horseshit! I says.

The first time I was prompted to subscribe and pay I just laughed and closed the page. Haven't been back since.

You're not really missing anything. For Bengals coverage, if you really miss the asshole Joe Reedy you can just follow his twitter feed. Daugherty wrote some nice articles here and there, but I don't suspect he'll hang around there much longer. The rest of the paper is a rag.
