Looks like he's about to sign an extension with the Brewers for around $24 mil a year.

Seems like quite a discount given the market in MLB right now.

I heard that about Yelich. Good relative bargain of a deal there for the Brewers.

Wow. Great news. With Braun's salary coming off the books after this season, the Brewers will be seg up for the free agent period this fall. Good young cire on offense. Get some premiere pitching

Can't argue with that. Has there ever been a player more suited to a ballpark than Yelich in Milwaukee? He was a solid hitter in Miami but some of the numbers he's put up in the last couple years are crazy. Here are his lifetime numbers:

Marlins Park - 1367 PA, 18 HRs .281/.364/.399/.763
Miller Park - 654 PA, 49 HRs 118 RBI .329/.424/.666/1.090

I would say he needs to stay where he is at.

i almost thought this would help Cleveland with Lindor, but then realized Lindor was younger, healthier, better, and closer to free agency.

then i cried.
