Obviously it's early in the season, but I'm breathing a sigh of relief the guy before me in the first took him. I had him circled as my likely pick if he'd been there. Of course, after taking Brady (somewhat reluctantly). Of course, I ended up with Fred Jackson as my RB1. Nothing beats watching your guy run down and his replacement break the team rushing record. Ugh.

Apparently the Titans are having their own version of our "Jimmy Raye Experience"

I don't know how true it is, but I know having issues like this didn't help the productivity of the 49ers. With that said, Chris Johnson should still be playing a lot better, I can't believe I missed that he was on my automatic draft for FFB and I got stuck with thise joker again... and why the hell do they make him a "no cut"!!!!! Its like a sick joke.

I think he'll be fine. I don't see any way he doesn't finish top 10 in rushing. I never thought he was one of the best in the league anyway so I guess I'm not all that shocked. He's kind of a one trick pony IMO, he's all speed. If the defense schemes against that speed than your not gonna have a great game. ONly thing is, you can't always stop speed like that even when you are ready for it.

We could've started our 3rd string RB and gained more than 4 yards...I'm serious. I'm REALLY starting to doubt CJ as our starting runningback. I say start Ringer or Harper against the Chargers and move Johnson to punt/kickoff return.

Chris Palmer....there's a blast from the past. He's even got Jimmy Raye's hat! Best known as the coach of the directionless expansion Browns, along with Carmen Policy and Dwight Clark that had to be one of the worst brain trusts ever assembled.

Interesting statistic from ESPN on CJ2k troubles:

Even though Johnson has only 21 yards rushing this year, he has 23 yards after contact. Hang on, let me add this up… yes, that means he has negative two yards BEFORE CONTACT. In other words, his average point of contact is behind the line of scrimmage. So hey … it's not all him! Now the bad news: He still has to play with that offensive line, and the Lions run defense is sixth-best in terms of fewest yards after contact allowed.
