What position did he put himself in? If this happened in a club or something your point would be valid.

He was in a car driving home and someone shot at him and his friend at a stop light.

That could happen to any of us who go out on a Friday/Saturday night and are driving home at 3 or 4 in the morning.

No not true its all about putting yourself in the best position that you can. If you think that being out till 3 or 4 in the morning is living your life then you just might want to rethink what your doing out at 3 or 4 anything productive? Having fun is one thing I get it . Being involved in a drive-by shooting come on man that does not happen to just anybody.

Have fun but be smart about it. Life is about choices good and bad.

Usually if you go out to a club or something that's what time you're leaving. Nobody leaves a club at 1 or 2 AM. 12 AM is when things are just getting started. I agree that it just doesn't happen to anybody. They probably knew CJ but bad things doesn't always happen at 3 or 4 AM especially if you know/trust your circle of friends you hang out with. If you hang out with people who may have been involved in some shit or are "thugs" then yeah it's not the best choice to be out at that time of the night but if you're with good peopl who you know doesn't get in trouble there's really nothing wrong with staying out that late on Friday or Saturday night once in a blue

I remember being pulled over by a cop when I was out riding my bicycle at 3:00 AM. I was 13.
He asked me why I was out so late. I said I'm going fishing and it's not late - it's early! I just got up. The cop continued with the "out to late thing" He just did not get it.

As a young adult, I liked to party. I partied at 5:00 PM. I went to bed and got up at 7:00 AM - yes, even on the majority of weekends. What the hell is so pleasant about going to bed at 5:00 AM and waking up at 3:00 in the afternoon with bloody eyes and the day gone already?
Drink the Koolaid. You are not having fun - you are just drunk!
To the point. I don't "drive home at 3or 4 in the morning"
I'm typing this at 5:00AM.....

Its almost a guarantee that 1 of the 3 people, if not all 3, in that Jeep last night (this morning) was carrying a gun.
