Hi Guys,

Just got wind that Chris Culliver was seriously hurt today in practice.

Let's hope that it is like DRC's injury yesterday and turns out to be a high ankle sprain or something like that.

Word is though that he was crying and they were looking at his knee.

No word on how bad this injury is but it sure looks like the injury bug is taking it's toll on the 9ers.
More bad news from camp: Matt Barrows reports: Another prominent member of the 49ers went down with an injury in practice today. Chris Culliver, the team's No. 3 cornerback, was running down a punt with rookie Marcus Cooper blocking him when he fell to the ground and clutched his left knee. Culliver summoned a trainer and eventually was carted into the the team's training room, his head in his hands.

Not worried about CB with Namdi, Brown and Rogers. Those 3 will be good, do we still have Perrish Cox as well?

Looks like Nnamdi just made the team. Will he be a starter or the #3 guy?

This should make it easier for Peacocks to make the team as well.

True. I am still in my crazy mindset of Culliver being a safety after we signed Nnamdi. I hope he is not hurt bad. Not sure how much bad news can come fore the 9ers before a game is even played.

If We could im down for just signing a bunch of people to 1-2 million dollar 1 year contracts. People I would like to see 49ers sign for a year at 1-2 million dollars at most Eric Wright, Kerry Rhodes, Brandon Lloyd, Bradie James for depth at MLB & Kyle Vanden Bosch or Richard Seymour for depth at the D-line.

Seymour's holding out for the big bucks. 1-2 won't cut it. He's the only guy on that list I'd want.

Brown is a solid player but there's a lot of questions for the remainder. Nnamdi and Rogers may bounce back and be great, or show that they lost a step and become targets. Hopefully one can shine. It's similar with Brock and Cox, but talent wise not age. Hopefully one can step up. My concern is getting off the field on third downs right now.

I don't really want to say this. Knock on wood three times, and do it three more times for good measure. We can't have an injury to our pass rush right now! Knock on wood again.

I also have a question about the new CBA. If I heard right your aloud to bring 1 person off IR onto the roster for the season. So I think we all know that person will be Crabs. But then what happens to Manningham and Chris Culliver if injury not season ending but would make him miss like 10 weeks or something? For these guys to play for us I take it that they would have to be on the 53 man roster.

Fortunately, the 49ers are pretty deep at Corner right now.

From all reports he is out the rest of the season. That is my assumption after reading about injury. Cox and Aso will take control of his spot. Plus drafted a cb in 7th round.

What reports? The most recent thing I've seen is that he was getting an MRI at Stanford. There are no results yet.

"From all reports" is just something he picked up from listening to too many TV reporters. They always say that.
