They are real QBs. One is the nephew of a Hall of Famer. The other is a second round pick like Andy Dalton, who @mrschaney assures me is a very good.

I went with Darnold and Trubisky but I'm having a tough time with a third pick. In my mind, Mayfield broke out last season and I'm not sure what sure what else Foles needs to do. I guess I'm unsure of the definition of "breakout".

I feel like winning ROY counts as your breakout season. I don't view Mayfield as a breakout candidate, but rather a guy who has broke out and now has high expectations. I wouldn't put Foles on the list either. His breakout year was 2013 and he's won a SB MVP since that time. He's also over 30. But... I get the logic in both. I'm just playing devil's advocate a bit.

And as for who I think will breakout... duh. lol

I saw a lot of deep all-22 film breakdowns of Rosen which convinced me he did a lot of good things last season. That team was so fucking horrendous.

Also, we saw Goff breakout after what may have been an even worse season.

Does Rosen have a Sean McVay that can maximize his talents down in South Beach? I'm sincerely asking, I have no clue who is on the Dolphins staff.

I think Defenses will adjust to Mayfield and he'll be closer to mediocre in 2019, and he'll readjust in 2020 and 21. Then we'll have a better understanding of what he is.
