Chip just drafted an O-lineman....

Well, sort of. I knew we were gonna go practice squad raiding, it makes sense. There are offensive lineman on teams practice squads that were drafted, some were selected in rounds 4 and 5. Well, we nabbed a 5th rounder from the 49ers. Tanner Hawkinson. Now i did not know anything about him, so i did some digging. He sounds like a highly athletic O-lineman. That I like.

I like it. I think Chip should keep his eyes open, and if their is a practice Squad O-lineman
available that could help us in the near future we need to make a move.

I don't think this guy is as forward thinking as the media imagines him to be. But he does know how to find a problem and come up with a possible solution. That's good moving forward.

Again, I have to admit - you called this a few weeks ago. It is an obvious smart move.
Hawkinson is an upgrade over Vandevelde, and may well be better than Tobin, or Molk (is Molk still here?).

I'm still keeping my eyes out for the crop of colllege draft eligible OL for the 2016 draft. QB; WR; and pass rushing OLB, ae still high on my list.
