If Tyreek Hill and Eric Berry are both up and running then I like the Chiefs in this one.

Maybe- but if Berry is capable of wiping out TE's, it's a very big deal. WR's are not producing all that much against the Chiefs over the course of the season.

Berry is a shit ton more important than say Watkins, Erving, Ware, etc.

Hill is a unique talent, and is like a top 3-5 WR right now. So I'd agree with Hill. There isn't any way to finesse production with Hill like you can with Watkins, X guard, Y RB, etc.

Ron Parker is a laughable replacement at his age for Eric Berry, though.

Speaking of Ron Parker, I wonder if letting Berry direct traffic in the secondary allows for Jordan Lucas to see the field again? He was lowkey solid when he was out there, dunno if he is just dumb as a rock or what, but I don't know how it can't be a playbook thing, because tape don't lie.

I'd rather have the guy that can score than the guy who can on a good day just annoy the QB by covering someone.

I think that Berry will be a little rusty at game speed but more than what he does from a physical standpoint, his presence will be a huge boost to the secondary because of his smarts. He makes those other guys around him better, imo. And getting into these last few games gets him primed for the play-offs. Makes KC a much tougher team.

No- this is because of division record. The Chiefs would drop to 1-1 vs the Chargers and 4-1 in the division with only a home date with Oakland remaining.

Chargers have already lost to the Chiefs and Broncos, and would have @Denver after this game. Basically, the Chiefs don't want HFA to come down to a game in Qwest, and LA wants the games against Baltimore and Denver to matter.
