That 4th qtr against Illinois will be a nightmare for a long time.

Going missed FG/FG/turnover/turnover on your final 4 drives is absolutely a nightmare.

It's easy: You simply take the teams ranked 5 - 8 and move them into the 1 - 4 positions.

Practically speaking theres not a huge disparity ( if any at all ) between a 1 loss Baylor and a 1 loss Memphis. Memphis has more .500+ wins, more ranked wins. Baylor has better median SoS ( though not by much )and the better loss.

These criteria arent likely to change even if both teams win next week. Computer numbers bear this out as Baylors composite numbers are closer to Memphis thsn they are Wisconsin ( currently Wisconsin is #5 composite, Baylor 13, Memphis 16 )

I guess my point ch is there is basically no one here who would advocate for a 1 loss Memphis over a 2 loss Wisky in the playoff so its not crazy to suggest a 2 loss Wisky should also go ahead of a 1 loss Baylor

The stark reality of luck in CFB scheduling. If Wisky had drawn Indiana instead of OSU theyd basically be UGA right now

That can be rectified by pulling the upset of the year. No chance for redemption for that Illinois mess. But yeah.

Who knows, maybe you catch Ohio State players a little overconfident bc of the previous beat down. Taylor will have to have a much better game to give Wisky a chance
