2 guaranteed first rounders - Haskins and Bosa

Potentially Jones, but probably early 2nd round.

We have more players staying than expected, so we're looking pretty good.

I believe we still have one more guy that hasn't decided yet.

Drew Lock and Terry Beckner JR. should be early rounders. Drew could be first round.

Iowa was quite young and I think you will see more names over the next few years. I don't see a huge impacts in this NFL draft unless TJ Hockenson decides to go pro.

TE Noah Fant should be Iowa's first selected in the NFL Draft. Many have him at #1, even over his teammate and this year's Mackey Award winner TJ Hockenson. It will be interesting to see if the issues he (or his family) had with the coaches toward the end of the season affect his draft pick (probably will never know). He is good enough to be first round but I guess it wil be who needs a TE.

TE TJ Hockenson is undecided if he wants to go pro or not. He would get drafted, that is for sure. He really stepped up and totally outshined any receiver on Iowa's roster (which isn't saying much though). It would definitely be a gamble for him to return.

DE Anthony Nelson was a beast at DL. Going into the Outback Bowl, him and teammate AJ Epenesa were tied for first in the B1G in sacks. I don't know who finished top at the end of the game. Nelson is a big loss, but Iowa is deep at DL and do a great job rotating. He will probably be mid-round, maybe late. He is too big to be a quick, fast DE but also too small to be a power DL. So, he will need to really show up at the Combine or something or he could drop to later rounds.

I think DB Amani Hooker is leaving too early. I think if he played another year, his draft status would go way up. I do think he will be a steal though. He is a very under-the-radar DB, so I expect him to be 5th round or later.

I know WR Nick Easley's family. He is weighing 2 options. He was going to just come back to his alma mater and coach HS football and get a job with his degree. After having a good game in the Outback Bowl, his dad said he is starting to wonder if he has what it takes to impress scouts enough to get drafted. Still no expectations of making an NFL team. He was barely talented enough for B1G, and that is on a team with not very good WRs.

I'd be shocked if Jones lasts to the 2nd round. He's a hot commodity in the NFL these days as an interior DL who can create a legit pass rush.
