I'm going to be 61 in Sept.
I can safely say I've never had to or will have to go to fight for anything.
But somebody had to sometime.
And I'm thankful for them to have done so.
Shoved a kid in school once and tore a chew toy away from a dog. I'm definitely battle hardened but I like to keep a low profile.
I was always big enough that I never had to fight period...
Let alone for real.
I'm glad for all servicemen. No matter what nation.
It comes to you when you have a Military background in your family
My dad is recent retiree of the Canadian Navy. CPO 2nd class.
I Ran many OPS, with Canadian Airdales in the 70's. 2 of them were stationed in our squadron in some kind of an exchange with us sending some guys their way as well. Man, those boys could party. Also, ran a few missions with the Norwegians. Also, great guys.I'm glad for all servicemen. No matter what nation.
