What I like so far about the season is that there hasn't been any rainouts.
And yet Boston might get snowed out today.
Yanks already got rained out. Starting out the season on the East Coast is done.
Almost a lock to get cold/rainy days in early April on the East Coast
Yay!!
Home opener should be somewhat normal after we're supposed to get to 80 freaking degrees on Wednesday.

Opening Day in Phoenix, Dry 89F. Not sure if the roof will be open or closed for the game. Possible rain Thur and Friday though we just close the roof then if needed. Hosting the Rocky's the first 3 and then the Cubbies for the next 4.
But, but, but it was like 50-something at Friday night's game! I had a t-shirt, sweatshirt, thin jacket, gloves and scarf on! It was soooo cold!!I'ts April and I've got multiple inches of snow.
Boo fucking hoo homey.

this reminds me of a conversation i had with a now promiment cal berkley former player.
I played college baseball in new england and it was like in the low 30s, legit snowing during parts of the game.
We're chatting, and I told him it was freaking cold at our game that day.
He says "Yeah, it was pretty cold here too."
Me: "how bad?"
him: About 60
me: ....

Softball season in Dallas stretched into November and we usually played late at night, so it was common to play with the temps in the lower 60s with a light breeze.
Being from Chicago, I would wear my short sleeved jersey with baseball pants and tell everybody this was REAL ballplaying weather!!
The local would be wearing sweatshirts, heavy sweatpants, and knit hats, shivering all the while and cursing a blue streak at me for being a stupid Yankee!!!
