Well other than Nino & a draft eligible kid named Baertchi (sp) who do the Swiss have this year? I don't think Conz is eligible to play this year but the Swiss always seem to find a goalie.

question marks in net, few returning players, no stars up front, USA the home team.
and Sweden said so. Dreger: Sweden's Lander says U.S. is strongest, not Canada

I really really love the make-up of the defense, though.
They should definitely be in the mix, but not an overwhelming favourite as in some years.

I realize Canada is missing a bunch of players because they're in the NHL but they still have a very strong team. The defense is definately solid.

The USA just got a boost since the Blackhawks sent down Jeremy Morin. The USA is solid in goal & on the wings. They've got Bjugstad at center & probably Nelson.

Canada, Sweden & Russia all in the same group is going to be fun to watch.

The Swedes replace the States for the traditional New Years Eve matchup with Canada this year. The fact that a) Lander opened his mouth and b) he's an Oilers prospect make it easy to despise him...

good start.
1-0 90 seconds in.

Markus Foligno (yes, son of Mike), from Ellis and Kassian

update: still within the edit window
2-0 inside of 4 minutes.
Swiss goalie was an allstar at the last tourney, but CND teem is getting to him
oops... make that 3-0 inside of 5 minutes. three different lines on the board.

3-0 Canada on 7 shots...less than 5 minutes in. Can't really blame the goalie Conz. He's getting no help on D. Canada is just way to big and strong. Man handling the Swiss right now.

I know it's just exhibition, and its 'just' the Swiss,
but I am really liking how the Canadians are supporting each other on the backcheck.
Switzerland hasn't had a sniff.

(commence jinx....... NOW!),

jesus, Ellis has a cannon. now he just needs to hit the net.

If you look at the schedule, the platform must include TSN.ca (or TSN Mobile if you want to watch games on your phone). Looks like the first game to be streamed online is Dec 26th :(

6-0 now.

I feel bad for their goaltender. The guy is standing on his head and getting NO help whatsoever. haha.
