The Jazz started last year 19-28 and finished the year going 29-6 on a healthier roster facing an easier home-heavy schedule.

The Jazz have started this year 17-19, better than last year, but not at the overall percentage of last season. I don’t expect a 29-6 stretch, but facing a home heavy “easier on paper” schedule, they would need to go 31-15 to match last year.

Could they better their 48-34 record by finishing 32-14?

Let's wait until 11 more games have been played. To see if they go 2-9, to match last year's record after the same number of games.

My hope is yes. My answer is maybe. But part of me is pessimistic. I’m setting the floor at 42 wins. That would mean they would have to go 25 and 22.

We can’t go 2-9. Because we’re not going to go 29-6. I was using the next 11 games as a buffer. If we somehow go 29-6 in any span of the season, I will take my words back and claim I had never made them. Just kidding.

Anything can happen again.

When rounding to 3 digits, Kris Davis has had the same batting average 4 years in a row.

.247.

During this past season, when it was the last day of the season, he sat out, just so he could keep this funny streak going.

We are certainly going to go 28-7 or 30-5. Because if we do go 29-6 in 35 games of play, I will just shift the range. Just kidding.

I'll answer this thread after we've reached the same number of games, 47, as last year's reference.

Then, you only get 76.1% of the points. Or 35/46ths to be precise.

How about we split it? What will their record be in the next 11 games? I don’t need specifics, just the overall number.

Vs Knicks
@ Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, Milwaukee
Vs. Orlando, Lakers, Chicago, Detroit, @ Clippers
Vs. Cleveland

And then after those eleven games, answer the question?

6 - 5, with a 5 - 6 possibility.

Jazz went 9-2, need to go 23-13 to beat past year’s record.

33-13. So they beat 48-34. :)

I wanted them to go 52 and 30 or 54 or 56 or 58 or 60 or 50 or 62 or 64 or 66 or 68 or 70.

Well, I wanted an even number of wins, even though I didn’t want them to lose against the Clippers.
