...the last time Adam Jones just had a really poor return in the kicking game? I am sure he has at some point with us, but more often than not, he is making big plays in the return game.
We have 5 1st round picks at CB, they need to sacrifice Adam Jones for a few plays after a return to ensure we have his skill set returning kickoffs and punts for us.
I am so tired of Tate, and getting tired of Gresham. I honestly hope we do not extend Gresham, and I hope we bench Tate in place of Jones in the return game. Only time Tate should hit the field for a return is if Jones is hurt.
That is a huge swing in momentum when Jones hammers someone for a huge return versus Tate standing 8 yards deep in the end zone, not able to make up his mind if he is going to return the ball, then decide to return it, and not get farther than the 8 yard line. His fumble was a huge demoralizing hit last week as well that really swung the favor the game in NE court that the Bengals would never recover from.
