He wouldn't make enough of a difference IMO to give up a pick for when we don't have many picks. My two cents.

I mean he is definitely an upgrade over the depth we have here but I think the issue is we have Javonte, he is our future and we don’t have picks to spend on a guy like Akers. Can’t imagine he is gonna come for a late pick and we don’t have early picks.

Akers is very underrated and would be a perfect replacement for Williams. Not to mention a possible longer term replacement for mr. Fumble who surely won't see a day past the end of the season.
