Calvin Johnson trade

I am eyeing 2 trades from a friend who wants Calvin Johnson.

My team is....
Qbs-luck, Schaub
RBs- McCoy, Bernard, Lacy, Bell
Wrs- Calvin, D Thomas, mike Wallace, Britt, Mi Floyd, and Hill
TE- Gonzo
D/ST- broncos, bucs

It's non ppr, 1qb,2rbs,2wrs,1te,1flex league with 4 point passing tds.

The first deal is Calvin for Drew Brees

The second is one i thought of for a counter, Calvin and luck for Brees and J Thomas.

Your team looks really strong as it is stick with what you've got unless you get a better offer.

I just traded T-Rich an A.Brown for Calvin. I think you should be looking along those lines for a trade.

dont move Calvin unless you get a pretty darn good Wr with upside back and of course a major upgrade elswhere... a la Eric 5577x above and even that is bare minimum

You'd end up starting a WR that is much, much less valuable than Calvin. The upgrade at QB doesn't make up for it, especially in a 4-pt passing league.

Calvin gets another WR across from him and his numbers will go up. He is doubled right now, so imagine what he will do when defense can't cheat on him.

The top qbs always score more than Calvin in this scoring system. In fact, I might even say that most qbs score more than Calvin in a season. It's just Calvin is a consistent beast and the difference between him and the next tier of wrs is larger than the gap between Brees and the next tier of qbs.

The difference in points between Brees/J.Thomas and Luck/Gonzo won't even come close to the difference in points between Johnson and Wallace.

Also...I know Julius is looking good while Gonzo has started off badly, but I don't think it's a sure bet that Thomas ends up outscoring Gonzo when all things are said and done.
