And ironically - working for an ex Patriots asst coach.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Patriots LBs coach Brian Flores will target ex-Lions coach Jim Caldwell to be his offensive coordinator if he lands the Cardinals job.

Despite seven years as an NFL head coach, most recently with the Lions last season, Caldwell has spent limited time as an OC. He did help lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl after taking over as coordinator late in the 2012 season, but Baltimore's offense struggled the next year. Caldwell is a known quantity, however, which might help Arizona feel more comfortable handing the reins to Flores. Arizona reportedly hopes to get Flores in for a second visit soon.

The Cardinals should hire Caldwell as their next head coach. He had some very respectable seasons in Detroit.

His offenses have been incredibly simplistic except for the one Manning ad-hoced. He needs to go back to the college level and be a HC.
He did a good job in Detroit.

Nope.

Caldwell thought Joe Lombardi was a genius. Then, when that flopped, Caldwell helped make the Lions run game worse, which I thought was unpossible.

He did? Show me the link.

Seriously dude. We watched every single game of Caldwells with the Lions. You did not. We dont care what someone else's opinion is even if it is a football personality. We saw it with our own eyes. He is the worst in game decision maker to ever be a head coach.

If you like him so much then convince your Cowboy fans on that board that he should be hired as OC. See how that works out for ya.

C'mon OL. Give @Guns N Guitars a break. Caldwell won the NFC North 0 times, went 0-2 in the playoffs, and had the worst rush offense in the NFL every year he was here.

To an outsider, that's a good job for a Lions HC.

Really he was one of the best coaches in Lions history, but that in no way means he was good.

Actually I would like to see him become the Cowboys OC.

Well he was better than any other head coach you've had in the past 20 seasons.
