Just got plane tickets. Will be in Phoenix March 18-22, and will see six games with my son. (Only three Giants games).

Third straight year of going. Why didn't I discover this before?

Anyone else going to be in the Valley of the Sun for ST?

They're at Peoria both the 19th and 20th. The 19th vs. the Mariners and the 20th vs. the Padres. I'm going to the Padres game.

School gets out pretty late for me this year, but we are still trying to catch some games in the last week of March before they head back to the Bay. Sunday-Tuesday, March 23-26 looks promising.

For the first time, my son doesn't have to worry about final exams! He does have to worry about work, however. The BOOM (Bank Of the Old Man) only goes so far.

Hope you can make it. It's a lot of fun, especially later in Spring Training.

I've gone the last two years and four of the last five. I've slowly gotten my who family addicted, first just me and my gramp went, then my mom joined in, then my dad now its a whole family and friend affair. Unfortunately finals get in the way this year, but I'll be sad if I can't get there this season.

This will be the first year, though, that we won't see many new faces besides Pence and Scutaro in the warmup black jerseys. Not much competition out there except for the final bullpen spots and bench roles (barring injuries).

Aw, cmon...there will be tons of new faces, especially in the split squad games. That's where I stalked Susac, for instance. I'm interested in seeing Stratton, Agosta, Williamson, Okert, etc.

If you wanna see Susac, come on down to Modesto and watch him when the Baby Giants play the nuts. Or is he going to Richmond this season? I'll buy the beer! (And have you drink it.)

True, I always love getting a glimpse at the young Giants and the classic dumpster dives by Sabean who will lead the Cactus League in hitting. Maybe we will see Villalona too this year, if things get sorted out.
