I second that TEB. Is Jones going to play this season? If not, what is his timetable?

With him being the third center on the depth chart and Tim Barnes now the starter, I would imagine he has to be active the rest of the season.

I think it's ridiculous that we drafted a guy thats not even riding the bench but has been inactive since week one.

Yea, I don't get the Jones thing. Haven't heard a thing, since the first of the season, is he still hurt? is he a bust or just has not developed and a combo of things?

I don't even think he was injured long but he hasn't been the starter..hell I'd rather Jones take some snaps away from Shelly Smith. Someone please explain the logic of this FO?

Jones is nowhere to be found and instead of taking a guy like Larry Warford from Kentucky who is having a ROY type of year for Detroit, the Rams went after a guy like Jones because I guess he can play Center. Who knows what they are thinking because Warford was taken in the fourth round. Barnes is a pretty good and the rush up the gut that was killing us with Wells in there against the 49ers stopped when Barnes started playing. But Jones is a complete mystery at this juncture.

Can't we at least wait to see a guy on the field before calling him a bust? Not every draft pick has to be an immediate starter.

BTW, Larry Warford was a third round pick (3rd pick in the 3rd round, #65 overall) and was taken before the Rams selected McDonald in that round. They picked Jones in the 4th, 58 picks after Detroit took Warford. After the trade with Buffalo, the Rams only chance to get Warford would've been at the end of the 1st instead of Ogletree.

Thanks for the correction Shopson. I could of sworn that the commentator on CBS stated Warford was taken in the fourth. Next time I'll check my facts before posting rather than take the word of a commentator.
