Got rid of C. J. Anderson because of 2.7 yards per carry for Paul Perkins 2.2 ypc in 2017 and never seen the end zone in 25 game with 5 starts? Seriously, they should've signed that running back who played for the Lions... I think his name was Zach Zenner. At least ZZ had Special Teams value too.

I was so excited when they signed his fatass too.

Wait, nope, thought it was pointless.

Zenner's out there somewhere. Prolly doing sit-ups right now, with his phone within earshot.

He does seem nice though.

Maybe he gets a chance to look good for KC or Baltimore or Dallas later in the year. Idk. Nothing against the guy personally.

He genuinely seems nice.

Kind of surprised by this. CJ looked good IMO. The O-line has not done much for anyone this year so far with the inconsistency. There may be more to this then just performance. Maybe he was a problem in the locker room or something.

Dude looked like Blount v2. Don't understand Paul Perkins though. Plus they just signed oh another QB scrub. Jeff Driscoll

Trying to create enough cap space to trade for Ramsey?

I don't comprehend this signing of Perkins.

I'm fine with CJ being ousted but to not re-sign ZZ or even poach Mark Thompson off the Ravens practice squad seems more than just odd.

What other RB's are available ?

I don't comprehend any of this. My head is spinning from all this cutting and signing of scrubs. In the end, it really doesn't matter

I take it that Ty Johnson isn't an option?

It's odd. CJ seems to do very good on every team he plays for but keeps getting cut. What's the deal?

CJ needs a good O-line to run behind. Maybe that is what the Lions should focus on instead of backup QB's and RB's.

I actually wanted to keep Thompson.

I didn't see any of the pre-season games outside of gif's and 10-12 highlights and evidently he struggled in pass pro and missed assignments. I figured they'd want more of a power back and that's more his game than speed.

TBH, ZZ should have been the easy choice here (good in pass pro, ST and delivered when called upon). ZZ shouldn't have been cut in the first place, imo.
