Back to what Northeast was saying, I guess Burnett had a change of heart after the first inning, because it wouldn't make sense for a pitcher who is here just to "soak up the money" to battle and pitch effectively when your team is in a 4 run hole.

Burnette is rusty. He should have been pulled after 5 innings. That way he would have had more time to count his money, By the way you can not make excuses for a guy who walks 6 batters in 5.1 innings.

My man fucked up today? That prick! I missed part of the game. Today's loss is just one of 60 or so losses the Phillies will have this year. This is also one of Burnett's 2014 losses. But he did well in his first start. Lee sucked in his first start and was excellent in his second. So this means ...rust never sleeps?

Rust is a polite word for not in good working order. But in baseball rust could be either physical or mental. With Burnette it is certainly mental. I hope he does better in the future.
