Injury is the only way. Rey ended the season as the starter. He's still under contract. He'll remain the starter. This is how things work here.

Coming from a long time Trojans fan Burfict is a beast.His only downside is his off the field and sometimes on the field issues.If he gets them under control he's going to be a monster.Like I told you all before he was a steal as an FA signing

Burfict hasnt been arrested...The issue is on field but lets see how he adapts to Cincy Weed....Which can be addictive...LOL He is a hell of a hitter...Slow 40 time though (4.8) but when he gets there he tries to put you into a coma.....

Thats what Training Camp and Pre Season is for...Maybe he plays some Stongside as well and most definitely ST's....

I am glad we got him as a college free agent, but he looks absolutely nothing like Dick Butkus on the field. He still looks like a young cocky kid going for the knock out punch and doesn't wrap up very good.

When Butkus tackles, he got his hands on you, you were not going anywhere, and Butkus never went backwards, he always drove the ball carrier backwards, even if meeting in the hole. Butkus was bigger than anyone else on offense, and shoved that dominance down their throats.

Here is another key important part of their game, Butkus was very smart, very good at anticipation, never lost his footing and his vision and leadership propelled that Bear defense and him in the HOF.

Watching both films, I could almost not find a single clip that reminded me of Butkus when watching Defict. Not saying he doesn't look like a steal seeing how he was a college free agents with a 1st round talent grade.

I do not think he is destined for MLB in our defense. I see him as a Will LB blitzing.
