On a positive note, Goretzka has really looked good since the end of the winter break. Also nice to see Rodriguez starting.

They did and it was ugly. This is the Leverkusen I expected at the beginning of the season when I thought they would finish second.

Müller had that great cross to Goretzka, which made his minutes worth it. Maybe he could’ve been subbed earlier.

Yes, agree, but I think the subs should have come in at the 2nd goal..but Kovac waiting until 70+ minute for the first sub was wrong. I agree with Davies and Gnabry coming in though. Without Thiago there are always problems out of their end. Looked like Ajax games except Leverkusen back end was solid today.

Muller out both games. Kovac seems to want to play counter attacking style against attacking teams. He did it in the Ajax games, and yesterday and their midfield gets overwhelmed in each case. I am sure he will do it too against Livermore and I am not confident it will go well. He got out-tactic'd yesterday by Dortmund flameout Peter Bosz

Ah, forgot the Müller ban was two games. I guess that's what you get when you scramble a guy's brains with your studs.

Those Ajax games were brutal. No offense to Ajax fans out there, but that's a team Bayern should've steamrolled.

Nice to see Bayern win in Pokal and Dortmund lose. But oh boy Hummels heading the ball right to Selke for a gift. God has Hummels been bad this year. Need to give Boateng another chance. Of course Ulreich never bails out anyone either. This lineup was a test lineup for Liverpool with Muller on the bench. I think Kovac was testing what will be next week.
