Game Thread: Bruins Hosting Red Wings, October 14, 2013

The Red Sox defeated a Detroit team in dramatic fashion last night, the Bruins have an opportunity tofurther frustrate Michiganders this afternoon.

I would prefer a wire-to-wire win to another come-from-behind, but will take any win.

Win any fights Detroit starts, but don't initiate any, please. As much as some people like them they are NOT HOCKEY!

I post on the main board for games. I'm listening in on my phone in the office. It's on real low volume though, hard to hear. This was a dumb idea. Afternoon game on Columbus day? Pfft.

We got totally beat in front of the nets this game ... and another backup goalie shines handing us a loss. We certainly cant say that we didnt have golden opportunites. Man, Iggy needs to find his shot ... he gets open and cant seem to cash in on the juicy shots. How many one timers did he get on that 5-3? Sheeeesh!

agreed. CJ sent Marchand a msg by putting him on the 3rd line and it seemed to work. Marchand played better than he has. Maybe taking Iggy off the pp will work for him.
