As I said before, the Bruins do play better late in games.

That can make the 1st 40 minutes frustrating, but you'll have to get used to it.

Oh, I'm used to it have been a Bruins fan for a long long time. That doesn't make it less frustrating just think if this team could play a whole 60 minute hockey game.

Bruins and Red Sox have had that in common the last 5-6 years.

It means you don't have to worry much if you tune in late, but can be bothersome anyway.

Much better last half of the game and like you said Brahmsian they play better at the end of the game. Now we wait until Monday and play the Red Wings again.

In case you hadn't noticed the Bruins tend to play their best in 3d period, not the 1st.

Falling behind early is becoming routine for them.

Totally sloppy & lazy 3rd period. Thank God for Rask or this coulda been way ugly.

It's weird going back to the 82 game schedule. Seemed like last year every game was important. This year you could tell the teams are far more likely to slack off against some opponents. I saw my Pens really slack off against the Panthers a few nights ago. Wouldn't be surprised if the Bruins slacked off some against the Avs as well. Not taking anything away from the Avs tho, that's for sure a team you can't slack off against this season. Patrick Roy has the early lead for the Jack Adams IMO.
