As for the list, Think Backstrom is too low, but obviously, I'm biased.....

While both players are great, I would definitely say Ovechkin is the better player. I am getting sick of people measuring players by championships. If you want to ask who is the better captain, I would say Cindy, but as far as production on the ice... Ovechkin hands down. More NHL points than Cindy, and way more physical.

First of all, rep for the avatar

Second, he might be a little high, but he's being rewarded for a pretty good six month stretch of hockey (best forward at the Olympics (won a Gold medal as well as the Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe). I think he belongs in the top 10, but in the second half of the top 10.

wrong thread to post this in ... but I heard Lebrun say that Doughty went to Willie Mitchell and offered to give up the #8 ... Willie asked him if he was crazy

23 more points in 25 more games. Including playoffs, Crosby has 19 more points in 9 more games.

Jumbo Jim and Marleau are both top 30 and both of them should have made that list over Heatley.
