The real question is who will pay me $100,000 to paint the apartment? Just kidding.

It was a series of apartments on a complex, not just one. How many apartments do you think this complex would have had, to have needed $100,000 worth of painting?

Bump @MHSL82? I thought you would like a game with numbers like this.

Since I finished a Detroit series, it's now time for a Utah series.

Can you find a playoffs series where most of the full games are on YouTube? Don't do the 1996 Seattle one, because I already know the result.

I probably know the results of most series, but hopefully you pick one where I'm not sure of the result.

Do a best of 7 series.

If you pick a series from the 80s, then I'm less likely to know the result, or less likely to know the game order, so it will be more exciting.

I guess picking one that's in the 2nd round might be the safest. Since I'm not as sure if they went to the conference finals or not (although I think I know which years they went to the conference finals). So that has the potential to be the most exciting.

But just pick something you think will be good.

The 1998 series against San Antonio might be good, because it had Malone and Duncan.

One of the Portland series might be good, because I think the Portland fans would count to 10 everytime Malone was at the free throw line. Also, I like Terry Porter, so it would be good to see the PGs on the team.

Or maybe you think there's another good series.

Or can you tell me a series you liked, prior to 1996? Don't tell me how many games it went.

I am sorry to let you down, but I don’t know any series and any I do know, you would know the result. I like the Houston Rockets series where we beat them. But you knew that. We were in the Finals.

One that I have not seen but I’ve heard about is the one against the Lakers in the western. We lost, but we pushed them to seven.

I have no idea if or how much is to be found on YouTube about those series.

What year was the western conference finals against the Lakers? I don't want to look it up, because then I might see the game order.

And thanks, you didn't disappoint me. You provided a good recommendation.

Once you tell me the year, I'll see which games I can find.

Yeah, that was why I am avoiding 1996-1998. I know too many of the results, especially the game order.

The Lakers made the Finals in 1980, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989.

So it would be one of those years.

I'm excluding 1991, since I know it was Portland vs. L.A. Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.

I am not sure who made the Western Conference Finals in some of those 1980s years, so the Jazz played them in one of those years.

Can you help with this?

I don't want to accidentally see some spoilers, so if you could tell me the year, then that's all I need.

Man, some people are annoying. For game 5, they put the result of what happens at the end, in the title. :mad2:

The Jazz scored 8 points in the first, which was then a record for fewest points in a quarter in a playoffs game.

Stockton took the first shot of the game. He bricked it.

He took two shots before Malone took one.

Stockton missed them both, and also committed an offensive foul when bringing the ball up, against Johnson.

So it was a bad start for him.

From listening to this broadcast, they talked more about Stockton. Made him seem like one of the best in the game.

They didn't make it seem as if Malone was the force in this league that I thought he would be.

It was funny to see Malone with hair. I always thought of him as bald.

I had also never seen a Frank Layden coached team. That was interesting to see someone else too.

They also talked a lot about Eaton and Bailey, thus reducing how important I might have thought Malone was.

Minutes would go by, without him getting the ball.

This was a bad blowout loss, as they were just bad from the start, and never showed a decent stretch of improved play.

It never gets tiring seeing Stockton go after the ball, on defense. Whether he's guarding the person with the ball, or trying to secure the ball, I like that effort. That's also what I like about Westbrook. I like people with that energy and stamina, to always be active.

I also haven't seen a Jazz team run like this in a while. This was one of the faster Jazz teams I've seen.

Wow, this Jazz team was # 1 in defensive rating? The Jazz were the best [defensive] team in sports!

Seeing Stockton get the ball, and push the ball on a fast break, is why I don't agree with some of the criticism of Westbrook, and Westbrook's rebounding. Fast breaks are better the sooner the guard has the ball. So if Westbrook's teammates help him box out so he can get the ball, that's better. Why slow things down by having Steven Adams get the ball first, before giving it to Westbrook?

I saw on this Jazz team, that they tried to get the ball to Stockton as quickly as possible, so they could run. The Lakers didn't even play as fast as this.

Sure, the Jazz lost, but this was their style, and what had gotten them this far. It was just one game (so far).
