I think it is comical that the latest rage in the NFL is to use college concepts offensively. Part of the reason this works is that the talent pool from college already know the plays and have honed their skills in college - so you can cherry pick the talent pool during the draft. Another reason is that NFL zone defenses can't stop the college quick passing game - that would require a switch to man coverage (and be good at it - like the Broncos used to be).

I do like Fangio's answer to the question about what kind offense he would want - which is one that can threaten every inch of the field - showing balance between short, long and wide.
