The Broncos are 20 years away from being a contender.................. and that's if they jettison horse face in a year or two. If Elway manages to stay in charge for any length of time, well, all bets are off.

They have some solid pieces there, especially on offense. Their OL was hit hard with injuries last year, but when healthy they were good. They have really good pieces at WR/TE/RB, but unfortunately they hitched their wagon to Flacco for some reason. Outside of QB, they have the talent to be a 9-win team, but with Flacco, I see 6-7 wins as being likely.

All depends on the OL (which should be as good or better with Munchak taking over the OL position coach job) and Flacco which we really don't know how he's going to play...well some people think they know .

They still have a solid pass rush and back end defenders and enough on OFC...I think win now is the right mode to be in if you go get a $18 mil QB in FA.

Last year they beat the Seahawks, Steelers and Chargers and were a play or two away from beating the Texans and Chiefs. 13th in DVOA and 11th in weighted DVOA. They had a late season collapse and one of the worst QBs in football so even with a guy like Flacco they hit most of the 'team most likely to turn around' buttons.

Chiefs also got hung with an @New England game while the other AFC West teams get to beat up the other AFC East teams so that kind of stinks.

That said, the Chiefs played some of the worst defense you'll ever seen on a football field against the Broncos last year. If the Chiefs defense is actually improved in any way then Denver is the matchup that would help KC the most.

Well Flacco has won it all with a dominant defense on his back before... Don’t think the Broncos D is as good as that ‘12 Ravens D though. Flacco has always been streaky but rarely ever consistent. If they somehow manage to limp into the playoffs, then he will have to get hot at the right time.

right he has shown 1 time, that he is capable of an epic four game stretch. THat was a long time ago, and he was alot younger and healthier, i jsut dont see it
