His rationale is based on the good of the brand. International exposure, stuff like that. He acknowledged Elway and Fangio probably wouldn’t like it.

I understand the business oriented rationale but still hate it with a fiery passion. I hate the international games. I understand it’s a business but There should be limits when business decisions like this affect football operations. Business decisions should not affect the weekly routine.

Ideally the Broncos draw an east coast opponent before their London game (assuming its London and not Mexico City). The Patriots would be ideal. Then their bye week after they return.

I see that too: it mitigates the home field advantage for one of the Broncos road games. But that’s off set by the ridiculous amount of travel and deviation from weekly routine.

The Broncos has better not ever give up a home game for a travel game. Teams like the Chargers and Raiders can do that. The Jaguars and Texans too. The Broncos are too good a home sell to give up a home game. Especially if they’re in the middle of a good season.

I certainly hope so. It’s not enough that for years Chargers “home” games were jut home away from home games for the Broncos. The Raiders fan base has a special level of hatred for us and it’ll be extremely satisfying to make their stadium a sea of orange when they play the Broncos. Al Davis will be turning in his grave!

Hey, great reminder. We'll have 8 home games, plus two more when we travel to play the Raiders and Chargers. When the Chargers move into their new stadium, that's going to leave tens of thousands more seats available for the Broncos faithful. These AFC West team moves are becoming a really nice advantage for the Orange and Blue!

Watch Elways last presser He states the players he wants to keep Simmions Wolf Gotsis Parks and Connor. Harris he mentions if the price is right. and then talks about the draft in the next sentence as to say some of these players will leave but that is why we have the draft.

Mexico had field problems too, and that’s after the 2018 game there had to be cancelled. That experiment needs to end. The NFL is a world class product and they should be on world class fields. If a place can’t handle that the league needs to stop trying to force it to work.

the game in Canada also had some problems as I recall. Something about a super wet field and the Raiders and Packers has to play on an 80 yard field or something like that.

these international games need to stop.
