Brian Diaz has game high performance despite family death on his mind

I thought I should mention this. An Aunt very close to Jorge Brian Diaz died this week and her funeral is this weekend. He chose to stay and play for Nebraska and leave directly from the stadium after the game to catch a flight home to the funeral.

His goal was to have a great performance in remembrance of his Aunt, and he did so by dominating one of the best defenses in the country with 16 points, which was a game high for Brian Diaz.

We would not have beaten the #11 team in the country if he would have left early to go to the funeral. He is a true Husker................GO BIG GRED!

Oh yea.................he's a sophomore too. He'll continue to get better...

death can put things into perspective for you. alot of things changed about me after my grandmother died. Of course, after the funeral, I went on a depression kick for about 3 months.
