I'm thinking this played out exactly like Hoosiers.

Jimmy talked to a bunch of people controlling the fate of the team.
"I stay, coach stays. He goes, I go."

By the way, when they take the re-vote after Jimmy makes his statement, there appear to be a few folks who raise their hands that want coach gone, meaning Jimmy will not play. What's their motivation for voting? Spite? Stupidity? High moral grounds?

didn't hear that story, looking at the exit interviews, everyone seemed on board with keeping brett.
