Guess what year is the only year NE has not been top 10 in both pass yards and TD's since Brady started the season for them? Also the most productive rushing year in Belichicks history in NE. Also that was the last year NE failed to score more than 410 points.

In 2009 the pats went from 12th in pass yards to 3rd and having 33% more passing TD's, the Pats made the post-season again.

Brady was better throwing the ball. Team was better running with Cassel. When they lost with Brady, he played better than when they lost with Cassel. And that was Brady coming off a major injury with his worst season in the past 12 years.
