i mean, the offseason moves get the majority of the credit, 1-8 made it happen. i understand a media member or two bitched about Maik at 8, but somebody was going to be 8 and they would have bitched about that.

It still took some guts to do a lineup with Franco 8th, for one.

i mean, would you flip him with Hernandez? he hit 7th for a spell last year. It really is a no hole's lineup, yes they do each have their issues, Maik hasn't lived up to his potential, Hernandez needs to show it was playing with his injury that made his performance suffer and Odubel... I don't know what he needs to do, he can be great, I'm not sure what his hangups are. All that said, Kingery should be in the background making a few of them sweat and maybe win a position at some point.

That’s just how northeast happened to begin the new season game thread after trying stout for the first time.
