I am not surprised that much, I liked Moss when we had him the same way I liked Bautista when we had him. NH is just stubborn in implementing his ways and not all players fit his criteria. Moss will likely never be the OBP machine NH would want, his torturous approach to OBP is what has hampered Pedro IMO. Just let hitters like that swing the bat, when they start crushing the ball, pitchers will get more nervous and miss close pitches. Others liek Cutch can work the count, some players just don't have that in their make-up.

i saw moss was hot. it is a blip. just like quentin started out hot. he will cool and return to his baseline.
i am happy for him to finally experience some success. hopefully, he will revel in it and it will lift his confidence and heal some inner frustrations and hurts.
that in itself should help improve the baseline he will return to.

It might be a little bit of a blip... But the guy was absolutely Blistering in the minors forcing his way back into the big leagues... Then he goes and hits the shit out of the baseball for a month.

Obviously he cannot keep that pace up forever.. but it seems he has figured a few things out at the plate... And he really has tapped into the power potential scouts and coaches saw in him.

Of course, now that half my team isn't hurt anymore, I may not need the help...

I got lucky and got Moss for free on the wire in my Rotogeeks league.. He had already hit 3 or 4 homeruns when I got him... I released him this week end now that Berkman is back playing.... He had an amazing run for me...
