Marshall has been a good Bronco. His play has diminished a bit, but I find it hard to believe there is no spot for him on this team. Have we even sat down with him?
Middle and weak side linebacker have been our weakness. No instincts, weak tackler and can't cover an album. We'll miss his work in our community but not his play on the field.
We had a good run with him glad he was here he was a great Bronco.
OC he is still a good player but we need a great player the way Vic's system is set up we need speed. He will be playing I am sure with the Cardinals or the rams . If it is raiders he will be so tickled.
This Coach has a need for speed at MLB'er. I am Glad he wants it.
Marshal deserves Starting money. that is why it is time to say bye.
The way I'd size it up is that Marshall was a very good Inside LB - and his cover skills were way above average. Then he lost a step - he tried to compensate from that by playing at a light weight. He got run over and - did not get the step back. It's also not that he isn't above average at his position - his charge against the cap - is higher than his current value the last two years. For two million more than what Marshall costs - they can probably get CJ Mosley (if available).
The Broncos are banking that Fangio's reputation around the league - will attract top Defensive FAs at more reasonable salary numbers - than with a less respected coach. So be looking for the Fangio discount.
