I think Amendola was gassed on that route and a millisecond behind otherwise Brady would have hit all his throws to that point.

Brady continues to amaze...Mallett played better after a slow start but he has no shot with this team unless he wants to re-sign just to hold the "Scott Zolak clipboard" for the next five years. There is job security doing that...

They'll control Mallett's rights as long as they can and then see if they can get something for him. I wouldn't be surprised to see a first round RFA tender for him when he is a free agent.

But yes, agreed all around. Brady has been on fire through camp/preseason. Mallett most likely won't be a starter in New England. But Mallett definitely did look good after he settled down.

Mallets biggest problem is the light touch, he cannot throttle it down well.
He needs to work on ball control more than the deep rocket.
