Giselle made him get on top and that's a no-no during the football season. Potential satin burns on the knees and elbows and potential back injuries from extreme exertion.

If Brady was sick, missed practice because of it, and the Patriots didn't report it, wouldn't they be fined and subsequently labeled "cheaters"?

The only guys on the %# man roster who won't play are the 5 coaches decision to sit out.
For the life of me, I've never understood why the NFL has a 53 man roster and has to sit out five guys every week. Like running a machine shop and telling 5 CNC Operators that they will get a check but can't work so they have to sit in the break room all week and read newspapers.

Odd isn't it? Brady throws for 250 yards and 2 TDs and the media outside of New England is still saying that Brady is done. National networks are saying that bradyhas fallen off tremendously from his MVP year last year. Several now calling him a 'game manager'. That name or title is generally an insult to an NFL quarterback because it infers that he can't do much and that his job is to make sure he doesn't turn over the ball or do anything other than hand the ball off to a RB.

Brady responded to being called a game manager by saying that every quarterback should be a game manager. He said that as he's gotten older, he's less likely to risk a poor pass into heavy protection than he would fifteen years ago. He also said that he's been more deliberate about throwing the ball down field.

I would say that Brady knows that he's on a different team than last year. He doesn't have the same type of receivers and it's been a struggle to get all of the Patriots skill players on the field together. Yesterday was the first time that everyone was playing together and it took a half for things to start to cook. The run is going to set up the pass and the play action will be a deadly weapon as it was yesterday.

I think Brady is learning to adjust to the changes as much as anyone else on the team and now that all of the puzzle pieces have been flipped over, the edges have started coming together.

I don't think he's done but he is not near as accurate as in past years.

I also have no problem with them calling him a game manager. He manages to win a lot of games. So call him what you like. At his age he shouldn't take it negatively. That's just me.

Mike Giardi reported yesterday that 'HE' thinks that Brady has a torn MCL. He said that Brady has had to sit down on the field in the past two games during a commercial time out to adjust the brace that he wears on the knee. Giardi check with several Orthopaedic doctors and they all said that any brace can cause irritation to the knee especially if it is starting to swell. They said that a player can play with a torm MCL but that football players must be extremely careful not to take a severe hit to the knee because the ACL will reputure because of lack of support. Brady will have to have a surgical procedure on the knee when his season is done.

Tom E. Curran said yesterday that Gronk's back and leg are really screwing him up this year and by trying to stay away from surgery and not doing any weight work, may have actually been worse for him. He says that it would be surprising if Gronk had a fifth spinal procedure and another procedure on his knee during the off season.

Just the kind of news fans want to hear in Week 16 of the NFL season.

I know exactly what Brady's problem is. He went back to the old style helmet two weeks ago.

Tom Brady had one of his worst days as a QB in his professional career yesterday.

He was 13 of 26 passing for 50%
Passing yardage was 128 yards
QB Rating was 48.6
2 Interceptions
0 TDs

Odd how quickly that the football talking heads can can poinbtout a dismal performance and are pretty much proclaiming that Tom Brady has finally reached the end of a Hall of Fame career. Another oddity is that they forget that they proclaimed the exact same thing during the Super Bowl comeback against the Falcons three years ago and pretty much did the same thing last year when he won the MVP.

As I've stated several times, people who know what they're talking about have pointed out that Brady's mechanics look skewed. He does not appear to be able to drop back and plant and push hard off his right leg. Because of that he can't fire the ball with the speed and thrust needed to keep the ball trajected properly and the ball is falling short of the target or is not getting to the proper spot. The brace that has to wear is causing irritation on the knee and gets moved when he gets hit low.

As bad as he was playing yesterday, he didn't argue in the 4th quarter when Josh and BB took him out and let Hoyer take over. Personally, I like to see if Etling can play at this level in a real game and not just preseason. "I" think he is much better than Hoyer and not allowing him to show what he can do is more evidence of "poor" coaching.

Agreed.

Give the kid some shots. Literally, make him take some hits, let him hand off, let him make some throws.
If anything, find out what he's got or turn him into trade bait.
