The stat that jumped out at me was in 2021 47% of Burrow's fantasy points were in 3 games. THREE! 47%!

I don’t know how that is possible.

He threw over 3300 yards and 23 TDs in his other 13 games. (Didn’t play game 17). And his only two rushing TDs were in non awesome passing games. (I’m guessing on what his third best game even was. And he was my money league QB all year last season.)

He was unbelievable in games 15 and 16 though.

unless they fix him getting sacked i doubt it gets any better

another way to look at your maths:
avg <20pts/game in 13 games...very pedestrian in 6pt passing TD leagues
avg 40 in the other 3....elite in 19% of his matchups, or roughly one in 5 games

nothing surprising here - Burrow's worst performances last year coincided with 2 TD games for Mixon, one of which Mixon toted the rock 30 times (season high) and Cincy played with a lead for most of that game vs Raiders

Not to poke holes in your theory (which does make sense), but after only 2 weeks, mkre than a few games have not gone as planned.

Burrow easy

This is the type of matchup that could be one of those explosive games.

Jets don’t have a great pass rush and their secondary is beatable also. Burrow should have some time to throw in this one.

All of Brady’s weapons are injured and the matchup calls for TB to likely try to slow down and run the ball.
