I think that’s him thanking the Patriots organization at the end of it like he’s leaving what y’all think?
I don't get paid to think my job here is Troll Radar, you just created a blip.

Listening to Zo and Beetle right now and Zo is convinced that TB and McDaniels return to NE for at least one more season.

I keep hearing people saying they don't think BB wants Brady back? Not sure if it's valid but I've heard many so called experts talking about it

There will be all kinds of wild rumors between now and when something is decided. I suggest you believe nothing until you read it from a legit source. In this case the Pats website.

Nope.

That's TB12 saying I'm sorry for the fans that love and support me such that we tried so hard and did not achieve the ultimate goal, but alas, fret not.

I'll be back.

Any idea why 13 mill of dead money is tied to his expiring contract? Usually dead money relates to terminated contracts or contracts sent to other teams. I would think all money in a contact would have to hit cap years within the contract.
His contract is not “expiring,” per se. He technically signed a 2 year extension, so 2020 and 2021 are years within his contract and it has implications on the cap in those years even after the void occurs. He got a $13M signing bonus spread over those two cap years. When the contract voids, that number will accelerate fully onto this year’s cap. From a cap perspective, the void functions no differently than if the Pats had cut him. The primary cap advantage of the deal for the Pats was in 2019.

I don't know how or what kicks in but the Pats are on the hook for $13M of a money hit on the CAP.

The Pats had dead money hits at the beginning of this year. None of the players were here. They're going to take a hit for Antonio Brown too.

This is the stuff that always comes back to haunt teams. Right now Belichick's gambles are going to hurt and hurt bad.

Now is the time to swallow hard, do what has to be done and clean out every contract that will be a problem in the next two years. Sweep the floor, Vac it, Wash it with a power brush, vac up the dirty water, rinse it and then wipe it dry with a clean towel. It'll be bare and you won't let anyone walk on it with shoes, but it will stay clean until something happens and it starts to be treated like it was before.

And just to clarify a little further, Brady was already on the 2020 cap for half that amount so the void will only take 6.75M from their current projected $49M in space. They could also potentially open up a lot more space depending how hard they want to hit the reset button.

Why are they voiding it? Gentlemen's agreement?

Clarification part 2 - the bonus was $20.25M total, so there was another $6.75M on the 2019 cap, as well.

I have a feeling Brady is going to opt out. Might as well see what's out there. The Cleveland scenario with Skippy (provided he gets the job) might be enough to lure him away. That roster is loaded offensively compared to the wasteland in Foxboro.

McD loves Baker, I don't see him taking the CLE job to toss him aside for a couple of years of whatever Brady's got left.

Yeah, Bakers got his shortcomings, but he's got a boatload of potential and more long term upside.

Brady is more limited in his long term availability.
