I'm hoping they won't play him until after the bye even if he is ready to go. Shake off the rust against the Rams at home and travel to the Saints to start that game. The 9ers will need him down the stretch against the 'Hawks twice.

agree with the idea of easing him in. we need him beyond this season too.
