Bourjos gone

Angels traded Bourjos for Freese. I like this move because I was always worried when Bourjos was on base he was one of the quickest players I had ever seen and now I never have to worry about him again. I don't think Freese will be the player the Angels think he will be.

Hope not. He was a guy I wanted the Mariners to consider looking at. He had an off year in 2013 but in the 4 years prior to that he was a really solid player offensively.

angels trainers and management must think bourjos is made of glass kind of like gutierrez, and most MLB front offices are probably onto it.

otherwise, i'm betting they would've tried trading bourjos for some pitching, which is what they most desperately need.

they must have some other trades or possible FA signings on burner as we speak.

Well technically they did get a pitcher in the deal. I think Cards are planning on having Peter be their full time CF so they must see something. I'm betting Angels still trade Trumbo/Howie for pitching. I'm happy for Bourjos. Now I can root for the guy since he isn't the enemy anymore.
