I don’t think you are a homer. I don’t think the other Heat posters on here are either.

But I know for a fact that some of these Love votes came from notorious Cav homers.

So I removed the Heat fan votes also to be fair.

If I switch my vote from other (Michael Beasley) to Kevin Love you think it'll make a difference?

No.
Beasley is better player of the 3.

He deserves a max.

True.

But Tristan Thompson, potato salad and other accounted for 40% of the non-Bosh votes.

In other words, Love only got 3 more votes than the 3 joke choices.

And, interestingly enough, Bosh leads Love by about the same percentage as Love leads potato salad.

At first I thought Love was clearly a better basketball player than potato salad, but the poll has me re-thinking a bit.

Love is clearly a better rebounder than potato salad.

Debatable.

How big is the tub?

Does Kevin Love actually have to play in the potato salad?

All pretty important variables.

I can propose an alternate idea:

At least 4 of the Love votes are from Cleveland homers. Probably as many for Bosh from Miami homers.

Backing those votes out would make it 16- 5 in favor of Bosh.

Perhaps Bosh has more votes because he was the better overall player. Unbiased voters clearly seem to believe that.

Unless they're voting poster rather than post. :dhd:

Probably a good idea not to argue with them. It's not like they are hidden.
Before they came out though, did you ever say you expected Bosh to be chosen by a wide margin?
Why offer the supposed reason for the wide margin at all, let alone the reasons you offered?
Thought I did. why I said a poll wasn't needed.

considering my wife is from German stock i guess the 2 of you should never meet...

lemme pass something along to goldie here. I fueded with TurnUp for YEARS from our CBS days all the way to starting out here. we were definitely dedicated foes, but you should know...

1) if he feels he's right he certainly won't back down...

2) he's at least my equal when it comes to going at somebody...

3) when it comes to "stamina" verbally speaking you're in for a very long fight(the other stamina i guess you'll have to ask his wife:heh:)...

not trying to bring up any bad memories on TurnUp's part, just letting you know that if you plan on continuing to battle this guy, well, i hope you brought a lunch...
Though I get "blamed" for this most often here, I believe many here share those traits. If they didn't, these NBA threads would die in the Summer.

Guessing you noticed this came minutes after it appeared TurnUp wanted to put an end to this one.

have always said sports would be boring if we all agreed.

Here's a different topic. LeBron's fading hairline. Will it magically be full again for next season or does he finally accept his hair's falling out & shave his dome?

or

Can Kyrie carry Brooklyn back to the playoffs by himself? How you say no in Russian, nyet? Shoutout to owner Mikhail Prokhorov!

or

If the Celtics stumble outta the gate or just have a down season will Stevens finally start getting blamed? And if Tommy Heinson's still on the radio for the Celtics he needs to be replaced. All he does is yell.
keeps fading

tough call.....I do think they make the playoffs, but not sure any better than last season

would hope so on Stevens but as you know many of the talking heads (at least the Stephen A or Cowhurd types) don't like to admit when they are wrong.

Hell, Cowhurd still wont have a mea culpa for calling Baker undraftable.

Sure.

Think about the timing of that.

The absolute peak for Love and the nadir for Bosh.
as I said, pick another year if you'd like. Not sure can find one with much better timing as Bosh still in prime and Love not quite reached his (still only, what, 24?)

I get Love will have better stats as Bosh had joined Lebron. Problem is if you choose after Lebron left, Bosh was clearly slowing down then had his heart issue.

Not sure I'd call anyone a homer for choosing Love or Bosh as it is pretty close.

lol I mean my thing is this, really. the votes should've spoken for themselves, just like the Whiteside/Tristan poll...

but I guess visual evidence isn't enough for Cavs fan...
Only visual evidence is what they do on the court. we even had one here who said Bosh was a better rebounder and his vote counts.

He had blood clots.
