Anquan Boldin says he'll retire if released by Baltimore Ravens - ESPN I would. His cost this year is $6M. but a restructured deal with us after release would be?? Xyrs. $XM with $XM guarenteed? Please fill in #yrs. and $XM amounts. This of course only happens if Ravens dont restructure and Bolden changes his mind about being a Raven only...heck he'll still be playing for a Harbaugh....

If the Niners don't get a real #1 WR like Mike Wallace (like they should) then Boldin would be much better than wnything else the Niners have, even though he's nowhere near as good as he once was.

This is assuming AJ Jenkins doesn't just come out of nowhere & dominate.

Calvin is a #1 WR. Fitzgerald is a #1 WR. Demayrius Thomas is a #1 WR.
Wallace is not in the same category as them. He's a small speed guy.

There's a difference between a #1 guy and an all-pro'. You don't have to be a top-5 WR in the league to be a #1 guy on a good team (see Wes Welker).
