Yeah there will eventually have to be some hard decisions to be made. The Warriors will have to figure out what to do additionally with Looney, Payton and Porter Jr. who are all free agents this year. Lots of moving parts.
I don't see any way they can keep any of those 3.

Looks like the Wolves have put Russell on the block. That is part one of my bold prediction. Can they actually find a team willing to take him? seems unlikely. Rosas is now with the Knicks though, maybe he would like to double down and gift the Wolves a pick like he did the Warriors?

That’s actually a reasonable destination. FRP seems unlikely but perhaps Minny could revive Kemba’s career.

Here's one...the Lakers will trade Westbrook and actually get value back for him. Enough that some folks will say it's not fair and claim it was forced by the league.

Most of those complaining will be Celtics fans.

No, the dude quit on one team and will do it again.
So he walks? They gave up literally nothing of value.

This kinda reminds me of when the Cavs traded for Andre Drummond. They gave up Henson, Knight and a 2nd. It didn't workout but they didn't give up anything. If Wood does workout then they can sign him long-term.

Hard to say a guy quit on a team when the team has quit on the entire season.
This is a great pick up for the Mavs.

Though losing Boban is too bad :)

I can say having gone to a bunch of Mavs games, he was a fan favorite. Really nice guy.

The team refused to compete all season
Just saying once you refuse to go in a game and aren’t hurt it isn’t going away.

I'll bet you are wrong. I bet it doesn't happen on the Mavericks and that he performs great and helps the team improve. In other words, it's gone away.
Nope, his commitment will always be questioned, deservedly so

Wood quit on the Rockets? First I've heard of this. Can you post a link about it?

He and Porter both got suspended by the team for a game so me for refusing to enter a game. Hopefully he learned from it but that’s a bad look.

Holy crap. You're right that's a bad look. Never like hearing stuff like that.

Couldn’t disagree more.

Wood has been in the league for a few years, but he is still a young player.

The Rockets are totally devoid of locker room leaders and they are actively tanking.

People make mistakes. Wood made one here, but it is distant past. Nobody will take issue unless something like it happens in Dallas.

Got to give the man a pass considering the situation.

@thunderc likes to put players on his naughty list and they stay there forever no matter what happens after.
