So that silent underwater episode is incredible. I still have a few episodes left in the season, but it has been great so far.

The visuals were amazing in that episode. Their animation team deserves a lot of props.

Though a great character, Bojack becomes less likable by the end of each season. A total jerk.

It made me laugh, then hit me in the feels.

In the beginning I found Mr Peanutbutter grating but he is funny as shit this season.

Paul f. Tompkins is great. It took me awhile to get around to season two, finished it today and just starting season 3, episode his first appearance 6 minutes in or so, on a conference call which bojack is on and tells him he can't meet with him because he's in new york, and the response from Mr. Peanutbutter "New York City, they make such great salsa" the entire way he delivered that line like everything else he does is brilliant.

He's been on Doug Loves Movies podcast a few times, but one of them he did in character as Werner Herzog, it was brilliant.

End of season 3 was so depressing though. Not sure how much more of this show I can really watch if it gets more and more depressing. Even though I love moments of it, and it is brilliant, I can't do a cartoon that is so depressing with no sign of happiness.

Yeah... I was watching season 3 and while it's well written and the jokes are great, you could basically see exactly where the end was heading. As soon as he called up the girl from his previous show I knew what would be happening there (no spoilers). Same with where his friends would be.

THIS is exactly why I love the show so much.

In real life, people are effed up, and most of them never get better, they only get worse. He's somewhat aware of it (like with the teenage deer-girl Penny), but ultimately he doesn't do a whole lot to change. Maybe out of laziness or selfishness, or even worse: he LIKES himself as a complete jerk.

It's so stupid and in season one I hated him. Season 2 killed me, it's hysterical.

It's hilarious...especially how no one other than Bojack seems to be capable of calling it out for what it is. I think that's the show's writers making fun of themselves.

My favorite episodes are the ones where they make fun of the 90's. The parodies are spot on. The Chicken 4 Daze ad is great (although not actually a flashback)

I just think that through four seasons, they're stretching the "Bojack, the miserable prick" angle a bit thin.

There needs to be some redemption at some point.

Just finished season 4, going to let it sink in more. I love how the show is a joke and self-aware, yet it really hits me in the feels sometimes.

I will say this with confidence though, Todd is the worst thing in this show. His jokes don't really work and often fall flat. He doesn't have great chemistry with any of the other main characters. And s4 is them pushing the asexual story-line, even though it never garnered any interest from me. If Aaron Paul wasn't producing the show, they would have written off that shitty character after season 1.
