Last season - the year the Boise State softball team first won the Mtn. West Conference in softball - Boise State had a record of 6-6 after their first twelve games with losses to Tennessee (SEC), Stanford (PAC 12), Northwestern (Big Ten) and Iowa State (Big 12).
