Bochy's kiss

I am watching a replay of the 2014 WS on CSN Game 7 right now. Morse got that go ahead single to put the Giants ahead 3-2 in the 4th inning. In the dugout Bochy is kissing the bat like he knows it is the game winner with Bum getting ready to come in sometime soon. Is it my imagination or did Bochy kiss Morse's bat? If he did ..how did he know? That is some freaky shit right there. It's like the Skip knew all the way.
