Yep, it's really a shame when it comes to his career and potential. The weird thing is that it isn't some type of injury every single year, I'm not sure if it's the exact same knee in 2006, 2008, and 2011.. that might be the only lingering injury.

• 2006 ~ knee injury
• 2008 ~ High ankle sprain, apparent knee injury later in the year
• 2009 ~ an arm injury
• 2010 ~ torn biceps tendon
• 2011 ~ swelling of the knee

IR for swelling in his knee? That can't possibly be the entire story. Wouldn't you think the team would want to wait it out more than a week and a half before giving up and putting a pro bowl caliber safety on IR for an injury such as swelling?
